Stuttgart, Germany

Every city has a personality, and Stuttgart's is FUN (Lots of fun, if you didn't get that from the capital letters). Josh (my usual travel partner) has family friends in the city so we stayed with them, which in itself was fantastic, because the house was well equip with captain crunch cereal and chocolate chip cookie dough. During the day, we walked around the city, people watched, and went to an 8-story Mercedes Benz museum. In the evening, we made friends with some locals who happily showed us the nightlife while sharing ALL of their opinion about America. Essentially, they are under the impression that Americans hate Germans, because we think they are going to start a war. Also, they don't like France because "the French think they won the war when it was actually America." Obviously 4 slightly inebriated Germans don't represent the entire country...but it was an interesting conversation non the less. And no worries, I cleared our country's name. I informed them that in America, Germans are famous for their drinking habits-they seemed to really like that.
